Campgirlz.com was created to encourage girls of all ages, from 1-99, to explore nature!   It is dedicated to all girls, young and old, who have a passion for the outdoors.  Is your passion hiking, bird watching, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, and/or star gazing?  Do you like to explore & play in the dirt?  Then, you are you a camp girl.  Don’t worry if you live in a city- your own backyard or local park can be a wild place to explore.

Who are we?

AMY (Logistics)

Dubbed the ‘bug girl’ from the time she was little, Amy has always been crazy in love with nature.  She loves canoeing, hiking, studying weather &

bugs, and camping.  She loves looking at the stars & learning new constellations…or making up her own!

She has spent many years as a camp counselor and Girl Scout leader.  She also worked with kids on the Yakama reservation and with ‘at-risk’ kids in several cities.  She wants to share all the cool activities she picked up or made up over the years, so that kids will be empowered to keep exploring.

SLUG (Creative Director)

Slug is our Creative Director & the inspiration for Campgirlz.com.  She is particularly fond of the moon.  She also loves to hike, camp & canoe.  She likes to draw & dance.  She likes all kinds of music, but especially Taylor Swift.

JJ (Technical Director)

JJ is our Technical Director.  He takes our pictures & video, kind of like that kid on iCarly.  He also loves making his own comic books, both on the computer & freehand.  He likes to camp, build things and play video games.
