103 Things to do Instead of Watch TV
Some may ask, “What is wrong with TV & video games?”. The answer is…nothing!
TV & video games are great in small measure. However, lots can be learned from going without TV & video games. Sometimes, we find we are more creative, spend more time talking to the ones we love & do more active things which are good for our health. Also, spending too much time watching certain television shows or video games can make us sad or anxious. Getting active & getting some fresh air can improve our mood and our health! Ahh! So, take our unplugged challenge. Can you go for 7 days without television or video games? Here are some fun ideas to do instead of watch TV or play video games. Unplug! Have an idea not listed here? - Put on some music & dance
- Write a poem
- Make a fort in your living room or outside
- Make pottery out of clay or mud

- Make some cookies
- Make snow ice cream (recipe)
- Make a mobile out of things you find outside. Hang them from strings on a hanger
